MMI
Stand:
MMI (Medical Microinstruments, Inc.) is on a mission to advance robotic technology that pushes the limits of soft tissue open surgery and opens news opportunities for surgeons to restore quality of life for more patients with complex conditions. The company was founded in 2015 near Pisa, Italy and its proprietary Symani Surgical System combines the world’s smallest wristed microinstruments with tremor-reducing and motion-scaling technologies to address significant unmet needs across the globe. This first-of-its-kind surgical robotic platform for open, soft tissue micro-level surgery can help address microvascular repair and lymphatic repair. In Europe, it also addresses peripheral nerve repair. The Symani System is authorized for use in the U.S. by the FDA and is a CE Marked medical device in Europe.

Welcome to Other Fox. We’re a web and app development company with more than a decade of experience building and modernising digital solutions for a wide range of organisations. We’ve worked with major brands including the CDC, Erwin Data, and Rooms2Go, as well as numerous healthcare organisations via partnerships with marketing agencies. Our recent projects include keeping mission-critical legacy systems running while designing next-generation applications — from a modernised platform for a title insurance company to a fully redesigned app for a patient education brand. Although we serve many industries, we’re currently exploring opportunities to apply our expertise in complex systems to the breast surgery field. We’re here at this conference to learn more about the challenges and needs in this specialty and to explore how software can enhance workflows and collaboration amongst surgeons.
